Psst! Post your favorite poem or song lyrics in the comments below and win a bottle of Antara or Arohi from the Good Earth Winery!
I LOVE a good glass of wine and as I get *shudder* older I’ve begun to appreciate it more. I now like both whites and reds and can hold my own in a conversation about vino (sometimes even throwing in a word or two about the bouquet!) Part of the reason for this is the fact that wineries in India are now taking the trouble to educate their customers – even if its over a night of games and gossip with friends at home. Good Earth Winery hosted one such evening for me and my peeps and we had a fabulous time! I did have to warn the Sommelier, Agnel Gilbert that his greatest challenge with this crowd however would be getting a word in edge-wise! But he did great, check it out 🙂 xoxo
P.S. Good Earth Wines offers evenings like this for you to host at your home as well, just give them a shout and for a reasonable fee they’ll bring the waiters, wine, cheese and glasses, in fact they’ll even throw in a Sommelier to teach you a swirl or two, how cool is that?

Antaraa
Antaraa, which means “verse” in Hindustani classical music, is a new twist on the classic blend of two varietals with deep roots in the Nasik Valley.
It is a subtle, seductive coupling of new Cabernet Sauvignon and oak-aged Shiraz.
Arohi
The best of Nasik’s Sauvignon Blanc grapes morph into a medley of tropical fruits and herbs that is Arohi.
