Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2011 starts on the 16th with an off site fashion show with designer Rohit Bal, something I just can’t miss. I mean Rohit Bal’s design is just genius and what a way to begin a fashion filled week? There are some new additions to my must catch list this time, namely Drashta, who has a modern contemporary look on fashion and she is clubbed with Shivan & Narresh, a show that will ooze with style I’m sure.
Another must see will be the trio from DHL the future of fashion – Nachiket Barve, Little Shilpa and Swapnil Shinde. A MissMalini favourite and finale of day 2 Narendra Kumar, coming back after a few seasons, I wonder what he’ll do on the ramp this time, it’s bound to be filled with personality. As usual I want to catch the Gen Next show and see what the new crop has to say about India’s fashion.
