Last night, the India International Jewellery Week 2011 came to a close. The Grand Finale show started much later than scheduled causing a lot of anticipation. It finally did start with a dance show choreographed by Terence Lewis. P C Jewellers (the sponsors for IIJW) hadn’t shown on any of the days and followed up the dance act with a beautiful collection. Sonu Sood, looking quite charming, opened the show for P C Jewellers. Lara Dutta, who broke the news of her pregnancy recently, was the show stopper in her new avatar. The audience was then treated to a roundup of the jewellery week with all the participating jewellers showcasing their best designs. The one who stole the show, though, was Sonam Kapoor, IIJW’s brand ambassador. She looked absolutely stunning in a reddish pink gown with a trail accentuated with a beautiful neck-piece, both international designs saved for her. To sum it up, the Grand Finale was a treat, especially from the front row. 🙂
