Housed in a quaint, old building just off Marine Drive is the charming Home Collective – the newest home utility store in town. The store retails kitchenware, crockery, bathroom accessories and designer flatware. I saw some really sweet children’s stuff like animal face hooks and cutlery. Awwww. One of the owners Pooja Kejriwal told me that they also have a special men’s gifts section – so next time you are in a fix deciding what to gift your guy friends or colleagues, you know where to head!
The launch high tea was hosted by the utterly lovely mother-daughter duo of Lilette Dubey and Ira Dubey. Ira was as cute as a button in her colour blocked ensemble – an ivory, Paris flea market blouse and an orange Zara skirt, which she teamed with French Connection T-sandals.
When I walked in, she was animatedly talking to Cyrus Sahukar (weren’t they adorable together in Aisha?). I had no choice but to interrupt them and ask for bytes and photos and she was instantly game. How sweet!
Also spotted Suchitra Pillai looking fresh and slender in a yellow jumpsuit.
Other pretty faces were Madhoo Shah and Sheenal Chohan (of I Am She fame).
Did I mention that they have some interesting bar accessories? *Hic*
