I witnessed the super launch of Varuna D Jani’s newest Jewelry line, the modular VOW Bangles this evening. This line of revolutionary modular bangles has been created and patented by their designer and jewelry expert, Varuna D Jani. VOW is a brilliant innovation in the field of jewelry. The designer hosted a scrumptious high tea for her friends and members of the media at Taj Lands End Hotel in Mumbai.
Varuna looked so radiant as she discussed her passion to create something that would combine her love for aesthetic purity with her quest to design something for the modern woman. In an interactive session with the media, Varuna spoke about her stylish and path breaking collection and the support she received from her design team and Chaya Momaya as well. We caught a glimpse of some of these timeless VOW-Very Own Wish Bangles at the dazzling fashion show with international models.
So essentially, these little babies are like three bangles for the price of one as they come with a base and multiple enhancers. Each of these unique enhancers work in varying combinations to construct a new piece. The VOW Bangle can be personalized according to the wearer’s personal taste. So, you can bisect these pristine bangles and interchange either of the two parts with any other pieces you pick up from the collection, giving you a brand new piece each time. How cool is that!
Varuna spoke to me about how VOW would be a great investment for the urban multifaceted woman who is looking to treasure a piece for eternity and not just have to stock up on pieces that lack the capacity to be reinvented. Also, it is commendable that an Indian designer has patented this trendsetting design which will be represent the Indian jewelry industry on a global platform.
Varuna’s ethereal invention will be retailed at several jewelry stores in India and abroad real soon. And, while I still can’t get over some of the stunning pieces I saw at the show, there’s more. Varuna’s going to launch V Rock, a chic line of jewelry for the younger generation this year as well. Sounds like fun.
