Day 1 of the Bangalore leg of Blenders Pride Fashion tour 2011 kicked off on Friday, with shows by designers Rakesh Agarwal, Rina Dhaka, Anand Kabra and Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna’s. The show that caught everyone’s attention was Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna’s because they had the youthful Gieselle Monteiro walking the ramp for them. In true Rohit & Rahul style, the collection was modern with a hint of the 60’s and an element of clean lines (very reminiscent of their autumn/winter 2011 collection). This time they wanted to try and discover the wonder of surprise in their clothing. Dressed in a fitted sequined high slit dress, it was no surprise that the men in the crowd did a double take when Gieselle came down the ramp.
