diary

My feet are itching to get moving again. Not literally (that would be uber gross), but in that, “I’m craving new scenery, sounds, smells, food, culture and experiences again” mood. Because I am not going anywhere except for home anytime soon, the next best thing is sharing with you some of my favorite places I have visited in the past!

Peru

Let’s begin with Peru. I loved this trip and will remember it forever. It challenged me physically with our trek to Machu Picchu, mentally while trying to remember my rusty Spanish, and emotionally with my complete opposite but absolute gem of a travel partner. Let me admit it while we are at it that I was mainly the issue. I expected that everyone traveled like me, because I had only ever traveled with like-minded individuals. Well Sherveen, my longtime, very patient friend and I just aren’t cut from the same cookie cutter, and it made for even more of an adventure. Unforgettable!
