Last night Delhi-based designer Jaspreet Gulati showcased his Autumn Winter Collection at the quaint, delightful Juhu boutique Hauz Khas.
The collection was very high octane glamour with mostly Indo-Western fusion pieces. The highlight of the collection (and one which the designer proudly showed me) was a one-piece saree. So now if you want to wear a saree without going through the hassles of draping, you know where to head. He fondly talked of having dressed Neha Dhupia and many Miss India contestants in his creations.
In attendance were Anu Malik with daughters Ada and Anmol and popular faces from television, Sona Sehgal and Ragini Khanna.
I caught up with the lovely mother-daughter duo of Ila Arun and Ishita Arun and they expressed their love for Jaspreet’s design. Ishita said her style mantra is casual and more than brands, she believes in flaunting her attitude. Me likey!
