The first look of Ekta Kapoor’s The Dirty Picture was unveiled this week. The picture has Vidya Balan in a red blouse with the three men in the movie, Emraan Hashmi, Naseeruddin Shah and Tusshar Kapoor around her. The movie has been directed by Milan Luthria who also directed Ekta’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbai which was a huge success.
The Dirty Picture is based on the life of Silk Smitha, an item girl from down south who was known for her sex appeal (MissMalini says, Eeks! Really?!)
Coincidentally, the movie’s coming out on Silk Smitha’s birthday which is on December 2nd. Ekta feels Vidya Balan is the perfect choice for this character because she can truly portray to perfection how a woman’s beauty can go way beyond her physical appearance.
