I’m sure it is the continuous rains that have got these Bollywood actresses looking a little sloppy. Although, not completely abysmal, there was a definite lack of style and personality. Let us take a close look at the recent public appearances of Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Sophie Choudry.

Priyanka Chopra

Lets begin with her love for jumpsuits, her past choices were so much better than this particular potato sack with a sequined belt. The colour really washes her out making her look pale and unhealthy. Plus the shoes that match and the lack of any statement jewellery make the entire outfit look rather bland. On the other hand her James Ferreira onion pink dress looks very chic. The look would have been complete had she raided Bappi Lahiri’s accessory cabinet for some much-needed gold jewellery.

Deepika Padukone

She may be the newest Maxim Cover girl, but there is nothing hot and sexy about her awkward pantsuit. It’s all a bit too matchy-matchy for me, and the black piping is making the outfit more severe and office like than required. The badly done ponytail is an unfortunate choice of hairstyle for this secretary outfit. I know Deepika likes to aim for sophisticated and classic but this one just misses its mark.

Katrina Kaif

Out of all the other actress, Katrina Kaif isn’t looking as badly dressed as one expects. Her distressed jeans with tank top and black vest is a safe choice, but the chunky Military boots give it an edge. I like that she is taking to this tomboy look, rather than those awful long gowns and big hair she normally goes for. Hmm now to hunt for stores that have these boots. Any ideas?

Sophie Choudry

What can I say about the really bad make up on this one? I don’t understand the really light shade of concealer under the eyes. To make it worse she puts an even lighter shade of translucent powder over it, making her look like she’s just used a lot of talc powder. Or did she just go for another Rehane show?
