Sonam Kapoor “The only reason I experiment with clothes is that I don’t give a damn about what people think. It’s about being myself and being comfortable, and people have to accept me for who I am. I don’t want to conform for the sake of people liking me.”

Sonam Kapoor is on another cover yet again, this time it’s Harper’s Bazaar looking very nature-glam. In the issue she talks about how her personal fashion statement.

“I did it the hard way. I exercised and I dieted like a normal human being. I did cardio, weight training, yoga, dancing, anything that made me move. But actually I think it all boils down to zipping your mouth. I’m not one of those girls who can eat everything and still be skinny, like every other actress in this industry”

Something most people don’t realise (now that we only see the svelte Sonam) is that she battled with her own weight issues making her a relate-able movie star more than just another style icon.

It’s not all about fashion when it comes to this budding actress, there is a much deeper side to Sonam, that the limelight often misses.  Father Anil Kapoor says “Sonam goes into a room and doesn’t come out for 48 hours, and when we go to check on her, we find that she’s been reading the whole time.” I wonder what’s on her reading list? I know what is on your list though, you are going to be running to get this issue off the stand to read more. Am I right?
