Wedding movies have always been a rage in Bollywood. And after Imran Khan’s Meri Brother Ki Dulhan has managed to create such a buzz, Tusshar Kapoor is all set to play follow the leader! He’s doing a movie about a family celebration and it’s called Chaar Din Ki Chandni.
Tusshar’s doing the movie with Samir Karnik who made the super successful Yamla Pagla Deewana with the Deols. Tusshar who’s also doing The Dirty Picture which is already being talked about for it’s seriously bold content will be glad he gets to work on a more fun, family flick with this one.
Rumor has it that Samir has had a fallout with the Deols and has decided never to work with them again. But,the actress of his last flick Yamla Pagla Deewana, Kulraj Randhwana has been cast again in Samir’s film to play Tusshar’s leading lady. Wow, this gal’s got a real pretty face and I think Tusshar and her might actually look cute together! The flick’s also going to have Anupam Kher, Om Puri and Mukul Dev.
The first schedule of shooting has begun in Jodhpur and the makers are also planning to shoot in several parts of Rajasthan and Punjab. So perfect for a celebration movie, no? So, let’s hope that the movie shines through and there’s no ‘Andheri Raat’ (as the proverb goes) after Chaar Din Ki Chandni hits the silver screen.
