Riyaz Gangji Styles Ayesha Takia and Rannvijay Singh in the New Libas Wedding Collection!

Riyaz Gangji and Reshma Gangji of Libas have just launched an all new Wedding collection with a twist. And they couldn’t have asked for anyone better than the team of Mod to style in their bling ensembles.

So, Libas hosted an evening of mouth watering appetizers and drinks as the new collection was officially unveiled at their Pedder Road store.

Ayesha Takia looked ethereal in a sea green saree with a velvety purple blouse. Rannvijay Singh looked dapper in an all black suit and Nagesh Kukunoor looked like a 70s hero in his grey tux (So cute!)

Also, I absolutely dig the white Saree that Elahe Hiptoola (she’s produced the movie) was wearing and it actually looked pretty interesting with the blingy purple blouse!

I spoke to Ayesha about her girl next door look in the movie, her style tips for MissMalini readers and her expectations from Mod. And boy is she cute as she describes her undying love for high heels and how she’s a complete girlie girl, a sucker for romance who’s petrified of adventurous stunts. This is SO the opposite of her Mod co star Rannvijay who’s a true blue Roadie and loves the outdoors to death.

Ayesha is uber excited about her first love story with Nagesh (they make a great team) and was totally kicked about her perfect chemistry with Rannvijay. Rannvijay who’s been shuttling between Pune (for Roadies auditions) and Mumbai (for Mod promotions) said he loved this crazy, busy life and he wasn’t complaining.

We had the greatest chat about Rannvijay’s personal style statement, his kinda geeky (he hates when I say it) but cute look in Mod and all the butterflies he’s experiencing as the release date is draws closer.

Nagesh Kukunoor spoke to me about the simplicity of the plot which is essentially about a girl in a clock repair store and a guy who comes in there to fix his watch and how their love blossoms.

There was something so endearing about the simple boy and girl in a little town scenario and the bond that they share that drew Nagesh into giving his first love story a shot!

The warm romantic flick with its heart in the right place is out on October 6. Mod of course essentially means a twist and we can’t wait to figure out what the twist in this love story is.
