We’re all super excited about MissMalini’s wedding and the second edition of India Bridal Week couldn’t have come at a better time. So, this bridal extravaganza which offers India’s leading designers a platform to showcase their glittering creations is all set to woo brides all over the country!
Kangana Ranuaut has been chosen as the face of the India Bridal week 2011 ad campaign and she was at this star-studded high tea preview of the event with Vijay Singh, the Chairman of India Bridal Week and Vivek Kumar who’s the CEO of Aamby Valley City and Sahara Star where the event’s going to take place.
The high tea also had a preview fashion show that featured some of India’s favorite wedding designers like Tarun Tahiliani, Pallavi & Bhairavi Jaikishan, Neeta Lulla, Vikram Phadnis, Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor & Shane & Falguni Peacock who’ll be showcasing their creations at the mega event which will take place from the 23rd to the 27th of September, 2011.
The event will also feature other popular designers like Adarsh Gill, Jyotsna Tiwari, Rocky S. and Queenie Singh along with leading models and show directors from the world of fashion.
The highlight of the preview evening was the stunning ensembles at the dazzling fashion show that featured India’s top models and beauty queens in bridal ensembles created by these designers.
So, while Kangana Ranaut wore a bling red saree by Jyotsna Tiwari which perfectly complemented the great shape she’s in. Parvati Omnakuttam was seen in an exquisite and lust worthy blue lehenga by Vikram Phadnis.
I particularly love Neeta Lulla’s red ensemble which looked super hot on Monikangana Dutta and the breathtaking fuchsia outfit created by Shane and Falguni Peacock.
Tarun Tahiliani and the super Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor duo also gave us a sneak peek into what their show has in store for us!
India Bridal Week which will be directed by Marc Robinson has a visually appealing and magical campaign with Kangana looking like the perfect modern day bride who combines glamour with old world elegance rooted in ethnicity.
