Those who say that designers take fashion “too seriously” and that the fashion frat generally don’t have a sense of humour, have not been following Mumbai-based designer Nachiket Barve on Twitter.
This morning, I logged in to the micro-blogging site and almost spilled my coffee onto my keyboard while reading a series of hilarious tweets by Nachiket.
Addressed to a series of fashion design interns he’s had the “displeasure” of interviewing, the tweets went like this (unedited):
As tweeted later by the designer, the tweets are “pure fact” and “not fictional at all!” And if that’s true, I shudder to think what the next generation of designers will have us wear in a decade from now.
