Best known for their edgy ad-campaigns, rock-chic designs and must-have accessories, Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have announced that they will shut down their “D&G” line of clothing and accessories. This line has always targeted the youth and their upwardly mobile clients and can be considered high-end prêt.

The designer duo recently showed their last D&G at Milan Fashion Week and made a statement that the closure of this line would allow them to put in “Even more strength and energy to our collections.”

However, though this label in particular was associated with a look that was sportier and younger than the “Dolce & Gabbana” line (which redefined raw sexuality and high glamour), the designers plan to incorporate elements from the former in to the latter!
