Deepika Padukone‘s housewarming party was star-studded with celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Sidharth Mallya, Anushka Sharma, Genelia D’Souza and more. However, word has it that around 3am, a police van stopped outside her building and an officer went up to her 26th-floor flat. Apparently the local residents had made a complaint about loud music.
Soon after the officers left, some of the guests in attendance (like Imran Khan and Avantika Malik) were seen leaving. The Dadar police maintains, though, that no such complaint was issued and they simply visited the building because they noticed the large crowd of media and wanted to make sure no problems arose.
Either way, seems like the cops were just doing their job. We hope Deepika had a good party regardless and enjoys her new digs!
