Popular TV show Uttaran celebrated the completion of 700 episodes recently, which is… well, a lot. Now, I’ve heard of the show but haven’t seen it (Hindi serials are not my cup of tea), so I tried looking for a summary online so I could include it in the post… then realized that the “summary” on Wikipedia is actually a novel in itself. So I gave up.
But hey, at least that shows they’ve been progressing the story for 700 episodes. My general understanding of Hindi serials is that you can watch an episode today, then not watch for about 3 months and still come back to it and know exactly what’s going on.
