It’s the 8th of October and that means it’s the first lady of B-town’s birthday – Gauri Khan. In celebration of her birthday I’m taking a look at her style that I’m terming as the Bombay girl style. It’s very much how us girls who’ve lived in Bombay dress, comfort with a bit of Fashion. She’s not known to be the most fashionable as compared to other actor wives, but we get the feeling she doesn’t really care about our fashion police policies!
Casual Evening Out
Gauri loves to keep things simple when she has a casual night out with her family (casual is possible with the khans?). Easy dresses with flip flops that are teamed with a bag and belt, something any girl can do. Opt for loose fit dresses with a bit of stretch like Gauri’s for that feminine flair.
Night Out on the Town
When ever Gauri has to dress up for a night out, then she goes to her safe zone, which means the LBD. She likes to keep her cocktail dresses fitted accentuating her hour glass figure. We forgive her for using the same Chanel clutch with all her black dress outfits, Its a Chanel after all!
Drapes on the Red Carpet
Gauri likes to wear long draped dresses on the red carpet in bold colours. I love the Alexander McQueen in deep red, it looks fashionable and edgy at the same time something Gauri like to play at with her look. I would like to see Gauri get a new hair cut though, she’s had the same hair colour/cut since I can remember!
