In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month many people are coming out to spread the awareness and raise funds for the cause. The Elle India Breast Cancer Campaign which is the fundraising arm of the Ogaan Cancer Foundation is asking everyone to wear pink on Friday October 21st to raise awareness.

ArtistAloud.com in association with Blue Frog and Devika Bhojwani’s Women’s Cancer Initiative -Tata Memorial Hospital (WCI-TMH) has brought together some of the finest artists to create the song Haseen Zindagi in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. The track has been composed by Sonu Nigam, written by Javed Akhtar and sung by Teesha Nigam, Shilpa Rao, Shruti Pathak, Neha Bhasin, Shefali Alvares & Akriti Kakkar. The B-Aware Music supports Breast Cancer Awareness campaign will host a concert and live web-cert (on ArtistAloud.com) on October 23rd at Blue Frog where all the artists will come together to perform the song. The concert is a ticketed event where 100% of the proceeds will go towards cancer research by WCI-TMH.
Speaking at the conference to announce the song, Sonu Nigam said, “Artist Aloud approached me to do this special song for their and Deivika Bhojwani’s project in aid of Breast Cancer awareness. I gladly accepted it. We decided the song has to be a song of celebration of life and awareness and 6 young talented and happening girls would sing it…My prayers are with this project and everybody involved.”
