Gayatri Ruia along with Ramona Narang Rodella hosted a brunch affair to raise funds for Ahliya an NGO that supports women weavers. The event had a block printing workshop along with sales of Maheshwari Saris and Ramona’s resort wear. The afternoon saw some of Mumbai’s glitterati attend to support the cause, unfortunately for them the MissMalini Fashion police were not impressed with some of the outfits. There were some absolute disasters, one who got not one but 3 fines! Sorry Madhoo Shah but I really couldn’t be lenient. Thank Goodness for Ramona and Pria Kataria Puri (love the turban too Pria!) who give us a little lesson on how to wear the maxi dress.
