Rachel Bayros, you might remember her from our Brown is Beautiful campaign or from the numerous runways and ad campaigns she graces. Rachel has a distinct style of her own, bohemian with a touch of the 60s. Not one to shy away from colour, she loves all hues from pastels shades to neon. Her quirky dress sense off the runway often stands out more than what she wears on the ramp. Lets take a look at what makes her style unique.

You have to have a pair of high waist denim jeans (fitted of slouchy) if you want the Rachel look. Whether you pair it, like her, with a floral top or with something more to your personality, the pants will make a statement. She loves big bold earrings and wears them with almost all her looks, keeping other jewellery to a minimum. We love her Breathing Space Earrings by Eina Alhuwalia in the picture on the left.

Great Staples

Rachel really knows how to style herself and get the most of her wardrobe. Here is a perfect example how simple basics can be adapted to create many looks.  Each of the garments she’s wearing, can be reused with other outfits to make new looks. This simple tangerine blazer makes a bold statement being the star in both of the ensembles. I always say if you have great basics, you can make your wardrobe last for two or more seasons without looking passé.

Old meets New

It’s all about mixing the old with the new, fresh off the runway pieces with vintage items, like earrings or a hand made leather bag. Always play with that fine balance to get her look. One thing that most stands out about Rachel is her amazing features and hair, her skin is always radiant and her hair style compliments her. So many women hide behind their hair, try out Rachel’s top knot hair do for a change, its liberating!
