Fashion fanatics – especially those who adore Dior – feast your peepers on this! A coffee table book called Dior Couture, to hit bookshelves across the world in the near future. This fashion tome features a hundred Dior couture gowns which have been sourced from their vast archives.

The gowns (which have been photographed for this book by ace lensman Patrick Demarchelier) have been designed by all the designers who have been Creative Directors at Maison Dior – right from Christian Dior himself to Yves Saint Laurent (who took over after the Master’s death) and even Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferre and the controversial John Galliano.

We only wish the volume featured legendary top models as well (like Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss etc) to give it that extra edge.

Nonetheless, after looking at these pictures, it sure looks like author Ingrid Sischy, who is the former editor-in-chief of Interview magazine and the international editor for Vanity Fair’s European editions, has a winner on her hands.
