The MTV Europe Music Awards this year was hosted by Selena Gomez, you might also know her as Justin Bieber’s ex/current. Luckily the pictures above and one horrid green dress were the only wardrobe disasters, apart from that, she looked great in every outfit she put on. Can I just say now that I HATE and LOVE her hair and legs!? You’ll see what I mean when you take a look at her outrageously short and sexy (damn can I say that about a kid?) shorts and her completely bare back. Also, try and guess which of one the looks is my favorite, if you read my posts you’ll know I’m a sucker for heels (hint), find out at the end!
Her arrival outfit was to die for, a tad bit too ice skating princess perhaps, but she makes it work. Selena is wearing a Marchesa dress and Casadei heels (the hottest brand in heels right now). Not sure about the red box clutch, but a nice distraction from the otherwise one tonal look.
This look has just the right amount of sequins, length and print. Probably the most age appropriate of all the looks that night. You can’t really make out from the picture but the print on the skirt has melons, ham and even cherries on there. But the real cherry on the top are those sequined almost 5 inch heels!
Maybe a bit too S&M for such a pretty young thing, but I’m loving the drama of the leather and the tie dye. Plus the maxi length is a great change from the other super short looks she sported that night. The fire just makes it look steamier than usual, it’s the MTV EMAs after all, fire + music = one heck of a party no?
Okay seriously, grandma called she wants her curtains back. Selena WHY!? You were doing so well and suddenly this puke green bubble hem mess is such a let down. The only saving grace is that necklace everything else.. can you spell disaster sweety (didn’t they teach you in 4th grade last year?)
This The Blonds red sequined jumpsuit although covered from the front was all skin show at the back. Had it not been for the Grainne Maher chain necklace, she’d have been fined for open back and heart surgery. Plus the Daffodil Christian Louboutins are a bit too much of a statement for this already loud ensemble.
This is my favourite look, I would have liked the shorts to be a 3 inches longer, but other than that I love it! Most of all I am LUSTING for those Ultramarine inky/violet booties. I might not have those legs yet, but I can think of many ways to wear those booties. Please someone with a heart it’s Christmas soon, send me a pair!?
