- Duran Duran in the 1980’s
Duran Duran, the pop-rock group from the 1980’s has just launched a new song with a fabulous video, called Girl Panic. What’s really fabulous about this video is that it also stars supermodels from the same era, like Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Helena Christiansen and Yasmin Le Bon (who happens to be Duran Duran lead singer, Simon Le Bon’s wife).

The video shot by Jonas Akerlund is almost ten-minutes long and features the supermodels playing the band members. So, you’ll find Naomi playing the role of Simon Le Bon, Helena portraying Roger Taylor (the drummer) and Cindy Crawford plays John Taylor (the bassist).
As for the real band-members, you’ll see them doing fleeting cameos as bell-boys and lift-men in the Savoy Hotel in London (where most of the film has been shot) and also paparazzi reporters.
Oh, and no prizes for spotting Italian designers Dolce & Gabbana who very cutely camp-up a photoshoot for Harpers Bazaar magazine in the video!
