Even though Pankaj Kapur’s Mausam failed to bring in the moolah, it did win over someone really special. Prakash Jha who was at the premiere of the movie was totally impressed with Shahid Kapoor’s performance in the flick. And so the superbly talented director of films like Rajneeti and Aarkashan has decided he wants Shahid as the lead in his next movie.
We don’t know for sure if Shahid is doing Satyagrah which has Amitabh Bachchan in it as well or another project that Prakash Jha is working on but the collaboration should be super exciting! There’s also talk about how Shahid will have to chose between Prakash Jha’s film and Bhavna Talwar’s next venture where he gets to work with his dad. I love Shahid Kapoor and after watching him excel in challenging roles like Kaminey and Mausam, we bet he’d do justice to any complex character the movie biz has to offer. So for our sake, we wish Shahid continues to surprise us with his talent and cuteness!
