So, I was just flipping through the morning newspaper when I discovered that Farah Khan’s little girls, Anya and Diva along with their brother, Czar accompanied Mommy Dearest to Boman Irani’s son’s wedding reception party last week. And, I was so pleasantly surprised when I noticed what the little princesses were wearing. The cream and gold ghagra choli was exactly what my daughter, Allisah wore to a wedding last week. Some coincidence!
I can’t tell you how excited I was about Allisah wearing her first ever Indian outfit. My doll’s only 22 months old and we were really concerned about the cold in Delhi (which explains the woolen cap and stuff) and the length of the Biba lehenga (they just launched a new kids line) as she could trip and fall. However, Farah’s girls ( the chweetest three year olds) look like they’re so comfortable in their ethnic ensembles. I must admit, they’re starting to look so pretty. Future fashionistas in the making? Or B- town divas? Well, for now, they’re all just kids who love dressing up. And we love shopping for them and making sure they look picture perfect. What say, Farah?
