Delhi is alive with the myriad sounds of a Bollywood Broadway musical. As part of the famous Chivas Studio tour, Delhiites are being treated to a fabulous Broadway-style musical directed by none other than the well-known film maker, Rohan Sippy. The show is being held today and tomorrow (26th and 27th November).
The musical stars Shahana Goswami, Hazel Keech, Ali Fazal and Rahul Dev in eclectic rolls. Combining the musical story telling tradition of Broadway and giving it a stylish twist, Rohan Sippy conceives and directs the story of love set in the backdrops of all that is very 1960’s.
He collaborates with the multifaceted musician Ranjit Barot for the musical score and David Abraham & Rakesh Thakore, the internationally acclaimed fashion designers to capture the style of the period.
What’s more, is that choreographer Terence Lewis will be training the stars to show off some fancy footwork on stage.
