This Fall, Roxy traverses the urban landscape of California to the mountains of the Great West of the USA to present a collection that is contemporary, thus offering a different approach to board sports culture.

For the Downtown range, Roxy draws inspiration from the urban and artistic codes of skateboarding to present looks that are slim and androgynous. The collection offers a flood of deconstructed and long cardigans, tunic t-shirts, lumberjack shirts and other pea jackets worn with a slim or skinny bottom to create a linear and clean look.

Roxy prints are geometrical with stripes and checks and very arty with a print based on street graffiti and a starry micro print that seem to be painted with a brush in black or grey with strong highlights such as bright blue or neon red . The range of colours is reminiscent of that of the men’s with grey and black shades, ink blues and shades of purple.

As for the Quiksilver brand, this season they embark on a trip to the Argentinean Andes to present a collection that spells casual chic, comfort and innovation- Cajon Grande and Urban Utility.

The Urban Utility line represents a cool urban culture influenced heavily by the urban codes of skateboarding. Blending comfort and innovation, the collection boasts of bright coloured tops in electric blue, crimson purple and anise green, producing a clean, fitted and monochromatic look.

Pants ranging from dense denims to wide corduroy come in earth tones, charcoal black, and army green with ethnic prints subtly placed on linings, creating a smooth and totally urban look. The street look is revealed with patch pockets and leather details making it uber cool.

With the Cajon Grande line, Quiksilver visits the Latin American landscape for inspiration, represented through subtle and discreet references in linings and in touches, checks or simply in a woven strip. Dominant colours such as earth tones, stone, ochre, camel, sand, Pampa green and glacier blue are blended with powerful and traditional colours like yellow and orange, Tierra del Fuego red, royal blue and acid green.

Generous cuts are associated with tough materials, such as corduroys, shadow finish leathers, “pampero” wash canvases and dense denims… More comfort is conveyed with an array of Sherpa linings, flannels and cropped cottons.

Quiksilver and Roxy are available at the Quiksilver store at High Street Phoenix in Mumbai, Market City in Pune and Ambience Mall in Gurgaon.
