Seagram’s100 Pipers announced the launch of India Music Week at Hard Rock Cafe Delhi last week. The first of it’s kind this music week will occur from November 16,2011 – November 20,2011, across New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore with 40 artists from India, Norway, Germany, USA, Switzerland, Spain, UK and Australia. This mega music event is being organized by Rock Street Journal Magazine with the support of the Royal Norwegian Embassy.

Those present at the press conference were in for a treat when Bollywood singer KK performed an acoustic rock number with Parikrama, giving the media a glimpse of what is to come at the actual event. It doesn’t matter what kind of music you listen to there will be something for all with big band jazz to hip electronica, from intelligent pop to strident rock, from ska and dance hall to progressive psy trance, drum & bass and even the good ol’ blues and folk.
