Also present at the Ghost Protocol Screening with Tom Cruise were the truly divine Sonam Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and Neil Nitin Mukesh. Sonam was there to support her father (who plays a Mumbai based Billionaire in MI4) & to promote her eagerly anticipated new film Players (also starring, Omi Vaidya, Sikander Kher, Bobby Deol & Bipasha Basu.)
Ms. Kapoor was as usual the epitome of glamour, reminiscent of a young & regal Katherine Hepburn while she glided down the red carpet, courteous to stop for every starry eyed fan and photog, armed with a radiating & contagious smile.
Her beautiful black feathered dress by Alpana & Neeraj were perfectly complimented by a pair of gorgeous emerald earrings and classic pulled back hair, very chic. Her hair styling reminded me of a Karl Lagerfled – equestrian theme inspired – Paris SpringSummer ’09. Although, it must be said that Ms. Kapoor certainly has her own style and is truly setting the trend for the ‘au fait fashion’ in India today.
Mr. Bacchan looked quite debonair himself with a double breasted grey pin strip suit that could be worn by the likes of great Jazz legends such as Dean Martin. All in all, they were kind enough to stop for a photograph for me despite a keenly awaiting resounding Press blasting their names! Kudos to throw back and classic timeless fashion, kids.
