In your face Mayan Calendar. The world is showing no signs of ending anytime soon and I’ve got a whole lot of shopping to do! No but seriously, it’s pretty fascinating how the 2012 phenomenon predicted a series of cataclysmic events that would occur on December 21, 2012 and either end the world or mark the beginning of a new era. (I’m going with door # 2!) At the end of a 5,125-year-long cycle in the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar we’ve come ever so far….
