I think Sonali Bendre is so pretty – and she looks even hotter in person with her fab figure now! (Psst, if you’re wondering, I overheard her telling Farah Khan Ali that she got it through spinning.) We may not have seen her on the big screen in a while, but some of her songs are so memorable that I have to take you through it. Happy birthday, Sonali!

1. Mere Mehboob – Duplicate

A very hot Sonali joins a cute Juhi to perform to this song with Shah Rukh Khan. Love all three of them, and definitely love this song!

2. Maya Yashoda – Hum Saath Saath Hai

This is one of those movies I can watch again and again, no matter how ridiculously cheesy it is (remember I told you I have a soft spot for Sooraj Barjatya films?) This song is one of the highlights of the movie, where the three leading ladies – Sonali, Karisma Kapoor and Tabu share the stage.

3. Is Deewane Ladke Ko – Sarfarosh

I love Sonali and Aamir‘s interaction in this scene, and I love the song even more – one of those fun 90s songs that will always be a good listen!

4. O Piya Sun – Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hai

Sonali looks gorgeous in an orange sari here and perfectly fits the role of that adorable village belle.

5. Mujhe Sajan Ke Ghar Jaana Hai – Lajja

Sonali did a guest appearance in Lajja for this song. I remember it being quite popular when it first released, and it still is – I’ve definitely heard it at a sangeet or two!
