Usually buying tickets a week in advance for a midnight showing makes one feel extra special and ahead of the crowd. The Hunger Games has started selling tickets a month in advance which felt a little more exciting than usual but now get this: tickets for the midnight opening for The Dark Knight Rises on July 19 have gone on sale in IMAX theatres in San Francisco, Los Angeles & New York.
Unfortunately for New Yorkers, the midnight tickets are already sold out! This is the last film in Christopher Nolan series and has Christian Bale back as Batman/Bruce Wayne with Anne Hathaway as Catwoman/Selina Kyle. Being one of the most awaited movies of 2012 film analysts have predicted an extraordinary opening that will have the box office registers ringing away. The trailer gives me goosebumps every time I watch it, I’ll be watching it opening weekend too! Maybe the solution to the U.S recession is more Batman movies.
