Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, 2011 Box Office champs

Hi MissMalini Peeps,

2011 was the year of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in Bollywood, but I am kind of getting Sallu and SRK fatigue (no offense to to the SalluSquad and SRKMates). That is why I am looking forward to 2012 and the following films:

1) Kahaani

I love that Vidya Balan is becoming a solo headlining actress in the industry, but tired of  “in-character” appearances (but I guess that is the PR agency’s idea, right?).

2) Agneepath

Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor in Agneepath

The trailer has been out for months now, and I personally think Hrithik Roshan has never looked better on screen. I love that Karan Johar is behind this kick-ass project, as opposed to most of his other projects, which have been quite… fluffy.

3) Lootera

It stars Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh, what else do you need? Well, it also helps that Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane (of Udaan fame) are behind this film.

4) Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola

The combination of Vishal Bhardwaj, Imran Khan (with a beard) and Anushka Sharma sounds promising. Hopefully, we’ll see Imran Khan in an non-urban setting. All of his movies thus far have been set in either Delhi or Mumbai, right?

5) Talaash

Finally we get to see Aamir Khan in a cop’s uniform! With Rani Mukherji and Kareena Kapoor (who is doing a serious films after ages) in the cast as well, I got high expectations!

So MissMalini readers, what are you looking forward to watching in 2012?
