The evening of Republic Day, saw the young Parsi community dressed in their fashionable best at Olive, in Mumbai, where they launched a special glamour calendar which featured only Parsi models.

This was an initiative by the ZYNG – Zoroastrian Youth for the New Generation. So, instead of seeing the ladies wearing stunning heirloom gara sarees, (as one usually does at a Parsi event), the girls here wore stylish cocktail dresses and gowns, which showed off their slim figures and taut bodies, while the boys dressed up in dapper suits and elegant evening wear, to celebrate the occassion.

The calendar was launched by Parsi actor Boman Irani and director Farah Khan, who is half Parsi.

Strangely, the young Godrej’s and Poonawalla’s were conspicuous by their absence, as was Anhaita Shroff Adajania. It was only later, that her stunning sister Sherry Shroff (who styled the calendar), told us that Anaihta is expecting her second child and is due in May, and was therefore taking it easy.
