It’s always lovely to see international stars step out in togs by desi designers. We’ve always felt our Indian designers are world-class, and when the glitterati from across the world don their creations, it makes us, as Indians, feel proud.
Naeem Khan is one such Indian designer who has made us proud time and again. Even though he’s based in New York, his clothes have been worn by Michelle Obama, and even Lady Gaga, when she came to India last year.
This time around, Glee actress Naya Rivera, stepped out in a sparkling beaded gown from Naeem’s Spring 2012 collection, for the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards, held last night.
Though the original version had long sleeves, Naya showed off her fabulous honey-coloured skin in a sleeveless avataar, of the same design.
And how she dazzles!
