Last night, Dev D. director, Anurag Kashyap hosted the first ever Jameson Cult Film Club party in Mumbai at Trilogy and also announced the two shortlisted winners of the Jameson Done in Sixy Seconds contest.
Entering its 17th year, the Jameson Empire Awards is the only film awards to be voted for entirely by film fans. This year, the awards have a distinct Indian flavor as India’s premier director and writer –Anurag Kashyap, known for his edgy and iconic film productions, is the special guest at the glitzy high-profile ceremony in London on March 23, 2012.
The Jameson Empire Award is an accolade bestowed by Jameson and Empire, Britain’s biggest selling film magazine, to recognize excellence of professionals in the local and global film industry.
The readers of the Empire magazine will vote for the awards and the winners will be awarded in an annual ceremony – the Jameson Empire Awards on March 23, 2012 in London.
Spotted at the party were actors Rahul Dev and Ali Fazal along with models Deepti Gujral, Parvathy Omanakuttan, Alesia Raut, Tony Luke, Gaurav Arora, TV star Sachin Khurana and singer Shibani Kashyap.
