Anu Ansari, sister of actor Rahul Bose, has launched a lifestyle studio called, Studio One Eighty Nine, dedicated to creating a training platform for all forms of fitness and international dance.
Studio One Eighty Nine will be home to dance training styles like Salsa, Jive, B-Boying and fitness forms spanning Martial Arts, Kung Fu, Karate and Kick Boxing. As part of bringing the experience to life for the attendees at the launch, Anuradha’s team created specialized demonstration capsules of Salsa, Jive, Kung Fu, Karate and B-Boying, each lasting between 3 – 5 minutes.
Present at the occasion of the launch were friends Konkona Sen Sharma, Rannvijay Singha, Elahe Hiptoolah,Tara Sharma Saluja, Sophie Choudry, Tina Tahiliani-Parikh, Zeba Kohli, Rashmi Uday Singh and Kitu Gidwani.
Speaking at the launch, Anuradha said, “I’ve always been passionate about dance and fitness. For me, being primarily a mother, directing my energies towards furthering my passion, was key. I have trained for many years specializing in Salsa, Kick Boxing and Karate, and couldn’t be happier to be able to provide this experience to others who look for means of combining workouts with fun and rhythm.”
