Jewelry designer Farah Khan Ali and Sangeeta Assomull hosted a pre-Valentine preview of their dazzling diamonds and Judith Leiber miniaudieurs, respectively, at the Farah Khan Fine Jewels store at Turner Road, Bandra, over the weekend.
Farah Khan Ali and Sangeeta Assomull presented many stylish and luxurious ways to express your love this year, through a symbol of eternity – a timeless piece of jewelry or a Judith Leiber minaudier. The Judith Leiber pieces will be showcased at the Farah Khan Ali Fine Jewelry Store until Tuesday, 14th February, 2012.
Among the guests seen admiring the baubles on display, and even indulging in some pre-Valentine shopping, were Sunanda Pushkar, Surily Goel, Sophie Choudhury, Diya Mirza, Bina Aziz, Lina Tipnis, Shahid Aamir, Arti Surendranath, Maya Alagh, Vida Samadzai and Ana Singh, among others.
As they shopped for their goodies, the guests were treated to a lavish service of champagne, wine, cupcakes, pate and petit fours. And if that’s not enough, when they were leaving, each guest was given a goodie bag with jelly beans, in keeping with the theme of the latest collection of bags on view.
Among the designs on display by Farah Khan Ali, were statement solitaire rings, spectacular neckpieces and avant-garde chandelier earrings, with stunning south sea pearls. As for the Judith Leiber clutches, they were inspired by a Parisian park in spring, and celebrated vivid colours like poppy red, orange, purple and hues of aqua.
