In true MissMalini style, her wedding celebrations and reception on the 11th of February at Marbela Beach Resort in Goa, had a number of fun twists to add a dash of fun to the festivities!

The cutest thing we – the colleagues, family and close friends – were made to do was to blow soap bubbles towards the newly married couple after the pheras.

Marry Me The Wedding Planners, the super wedding planners who executed the entire wedding festivities, arranged for all the guests to have ice-cream cone shaped containers filled with soapy suds and then proceeded to blow bubbles to welcome the bridal couple on to the beach at sunset!

It was definitely a more fun departure from the usual practice of throwing rice or confetti at the newly married couple!

Adding to the entire theme of a carnival was a fabulous ballet dancer who used fire to enhance her act. She twirled and twisted and did the most amazingly choreographed ballet with cups of fire in her hands.

And finally, MissMalini and Nowshad even had a pretty Court Jester who went around, dusting guests with silver dust, to add more glitz and glamour to the party!

This was probably the first Carnival-style wedding in Goa and quite frankly, everybody had so much of fun that when it was time to wrap up at 11pm (due to elections in the State), nobody wanted to leave!
