Last Friday evening saw a roomful of avid book readers, congregate at Bungalow 9 in Mumbai, for a special reading of writer Kiran Manral’s debut novel, The Reluctant Detective, by actress Tisca Chopra.
Most of the gathering were Kiran’s followers on Twitter, and a couple of her personal friends as well.
Tisca read out a few passages from this humorous novel, and then followed it up with a discussion of the book.
Spotted at the event were actor Ashwin Mushran, his wife Rebecca and Shonali Shroff of Shringar Films.
