Whether Veena Malik and Ashmit Patel are on or off, nobody knows for sure! They keep people guessing, with their hide-n-seek appearances, and speculative interest in their love-life, is quite the gossip around town.
Adding fuel to the fire, is news that the duo have teamed up for an international Hindi film (What’s that? Don’t most of our Hindi films go international?).
Her publicist mailed us a note, and here’s what it says (our comments in brackets)….
“After much request, demands and speculation (Really??? Wow!!!), Sahdev Media can confirm that Pakistani Model/Actress Veena Malik will be starring (Finally!!!!) alongside Bollywood Actor Ashmit Patel in a forthcoming International Hindi film. Both have been close friends since their stint in Big Boss 4 and since then their friendship (Is that what is? Just friendship?) has been widely talked about.
The pair will be seen in Navin Batra’s movie titled Supermodel which will be filmed in Fiji islands in the next few months. The film is based on fashion, suspense, glamour and mystery (Madhur Bhandarkar could sue for copyright issues, no?).
“I’m very excited for this project, people have been wanting to see me and Ashmit on the big screen together and finally we found a script we love,’’ said Veena Malik.
Mean whilst, Veena Malik is back in Mumbai, ready to start filming for Veena Ka Vivaah, which will air internationally on Imagine, and completes the dubbing for two of her three films that release this year.”
