There is SO much that stands out about our trip that it’s hard to put it all down in words (I’m hoping once again that the pictures will set the scene for you.) As you can see it really was like walking around inside a postcard for ten days and I’ll absolutely never forget how fresh and crisp the air was everyday *sigh*
But for now, take a look at the few days we spent in Queenstown. Hand’s down the most scenic city in New Zealand (and perhaps the world!) and pretty much photog heaven.

In Queenstown we stayed at a few of the most gorgeous hotel’s I’ve ever seen in my life, Eichardt’s Private Hotel and the Matakauri Lodge – SO tastefully done and picture perfect…

I confess, after going on that Lord of the Rings Tour we spent one night watching The Fellowship of the Ring in our room 🙂

I also discovered several cool setting on my digi-cam!

This little horsey came up to the fence and nodded “Hello!”

I’m feeling the underbelly of some kind of ducky class system in play here, aren’t you?!

For as long as I can remember I’ve dreamed of living in a house like the one in Sleeping With the Enemy, this was even better.
PS. The even have a Spa that looks over an infinity pool into the lake! Best. Massage. Ever.

Their cocktail hour is timed by a real hour glass, tres chic I thought 🙂

Also, I think I just found my new favorite drink! It’s Tequila, Cointreau, lime and lemon with a salt foam! How cool is that?

We woke up to this view in the morning and when I close my eyes I can still kinda see it! Dear New Zealand, we’ll be back. xoxo
