One of the best ways to sample New Zealand fare is to sign up for a wine tour. Not only do you drink a selection of excellent wines, but many tours also include gourmet lunches or dinners. We managed to squeeze in two tours – one in Waiheke Island (just outside Auckland) with Waiheke Island Wine Tours and one in Queenstown with BLACK (they pick you up in a Bentley!)
