Whatever you may say about Salman Khan, it’s pretty evident that he’s got a philanthropic heart – you always hear about him donating to or helping out in some cause, especially when it comes to kids and the less-privileged. Recently, he and the Cosmopolitan Friends Association, came together to help orphaned, abandoned and physically challenged children.
Salman Khan: “I am glad to be part of this great cause. I’ve been associated with Mr. A. A. Khan for over two decades and I’m happy to extend my full support to him and these amazing children and their families. I’ve had a great time bonding and interacting with them and it has been a very heart-warming experience for me.”
The Cosmopolitan Friends Association is a charitable trust spearheaded by A. A. Khan, former Additional Commissioner of Police, with the aim of creating awareness about problems faced by physically challenged, abandoned and orphaned children. Salman Khan joined them at the event and interacted with the kids; the kids even danced to Dhinka Chika, Dabangg and Character Dheela, in honour of Salman’s presence.
