Jean Paul Gaultier is the new Creative Director for Diet Coke (Europe)

In the past, some pretty iconic designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Matthew Williamson, Gianfranco Ferre, Marni and Roberto Cavalli have created signature bottle designs for Diet Coke, which went on to become collector’s editions!

Now, another iconic designer, Jean Paul Gaultier, has been hired as the Creative Director for Diet Coke (Europe) and he will be designing two spectacular bottles along the theme of Night & Day. The bottles – we hear – will be much like his perfume bottles and shaped like the bust of a woman. They will also be stamped with the Jean Paul Gaultier logo.

There will be special, limited edition, collectors’ boxes which will contain both bottles as well as a chic glass designed by Jean Paul Gaultier and if that’s not enough, the company has shot three advertisements with him playing a therapist, a journalist and a detective.

The Diet Coke bottles by Gaultier will release mid April. So if you’re headed to Europe for your Summer holiday, get a few for yourself (and me too)!
