Vivan Sundaram recently put up an exhibition that is inspired and made from recycled and cast away objects called Making Strange-Gagawaka. The strange and bizarre brought to light in this surreal art-form that he translated into garments. The most unique of the lot being an outfit made from surgical masks and what looks like shower caps, or probably just things from a doctors uniform. We need more thought provoking ugly-pretty art out there to really shock our systems. Exhibitions like these and artist like Vivan strive to push our limits of what seems to be normal.
