There’s just something really different about Abhay Deol that’s very appealing. He comes from a filmy background, yet he seems to take his own route and not rely on the Deol name too much.
I love that he tends to gravitate towards off-beat cinema while still showing that he’s also the type for commercial cinema; there are not a lot of actors who can achieve such a balance! Further props for being someone who comes across as extremely straightforward yet totally witty (like during MissMalini‘s interview with him); that’s always a refreshing thing in Bollywood. Here’s wishing this mantal bwoy a very, very happy belated birthday from everyone at team MissMalini! We love you (and I still wanna grab a bite with you, *teehee*).
