So if you’ve been enjoying Durjoy Datta‘s guest blogs as of late, you should pick up his new book, If It’s Not Forever, It’s Not Love, co-authored with Nikita Singh. I attended the Mumbai book launch/signing at Crossword, and found an adorably dimpled and unassumingly funny Durjoy on the other end!

First up, boy does this guy have fangirls. Getting to him for a quick word was difficult because the line of girls who wanted their books signed (and one for a friend, and one for another friend… not to mention 1-2 pictures to go along with it) was long and relentless. One girl even brought him a red rose; how cute!

If It’s Not Forever, It’s Not Love

“I have been writing for four years now and I don’t aim to change the world. But I do aim to make it a little better by putting across stories that bring a smile to people’s faces or make them feel good about them. This book is about a near-perfect relationship almost cut short by a senseless act of violence. It’s inspired from events that followed the Delhi High Court blasts. It’s a tribute to all those who lost their lives or their close ones that day. It is story about love, death and longing,”
